Macro Chart Fed Model Data - Data Questions

In the Macro Chart Fed Model it has SP500 Earnings Yield (SP500 EPS Blend Y (weekly) based on the time weighted analysts estimates of CurrY and NextY) and it’s around 120. What does that number represent - the earnings of every stock in the S&P 500 added on a per share basis? Also, the S&P500 Earnings Yield shows at around 6%, what does this number represent the earnings of each company divided by price? Why is it so different from other displays of earnings yield like ycharts?

I hope this link answers your questions. If not, please let us know and we’ll try to clarify further.

Thanks, That answers the EPS blend, but not the S&P Earning Yield. Is the S&P Earnings yield of around 6% use (#SPYIELDBlend: SP500 Estimated Yield (SP500 curr and next year estimates) / (SP500 price) ) ? Is it saying analysts estimate that earnings (ignoring dividend yield of S&P typically around 2-3%) will be 240 if S&P was at 4000 to get to 6%?

Yes, that’s correct.
