FYI- Tradier has an account inactivity fee, among others, although it probably won’t apply to most here-

The original Tradier announcement post date was Sep 4, 2019, and I wanted to confirm a few points.
Today, if you are only interested in trading stocks and not options, Tradier now has a free account that can be integrated with P123. No commission stock trading comes with the Tradier Free account.
With Tradier, who is the actual Broker? The reason I ask is I am verifying the level of insurance the Broker carries for cash (FDIC) and stock (SIPC). When I contacted Tradier, they said ‘We are not self clearing, our clearing firm is Apex clearing, they hold the assets and have the SIPC insurance.’ Does anyone else find this odd? I checked FINRA and both Apex Clearing and Tradier Brokerage are listed as Brokers. However, I could not find any insurance information on their web sites. Most Brokers carry additional insurance (to supplement SIPC and FDIC) for brokerage accounts.
A previous post mentioned Tradier will support Fractional shares. Does anyone know if/when they plan to support this? They do not support Fractional shares today. Unclear if the P123 Manage platform supports Fractional shares as well.
I am a former Folio Investing user who is working on recreating what I had with them in another Broker. Folio made implementing multiple strategies with periodic exchange/rebalancing a simple, 10-min task. All comments are welcomed.
