We have made a change to the API endpoints and DataMiner so that tickers in the output will not contain the ‘:USA’ suffix for US tickers. Canadian tickers will still have the :CAN suffix. As mentioned in other posts, we looking at better ways to determine when to include the country code in the ticker and those decisions will mostly likely be implemented in the API and DataMiner soon.
How about adding a selection to Account Preferences to always use fully-qualified names or whatever the new format is called. Personally, I think always using fully-qualified names is better since any auxiliary user scripts will have to deal with only one formatting case.
