AUTOMATIC REBALANCING AT BROKERAGE FIRM?

is there an on line brokerage that will accept orders directly from port123?

for example if i had a port that i set to automatically rebalance every week on mondays, is there a way to diretly connect that info to a brokerage firm for executing the sell and buy transactions each week without my intervening?

Not that I’m aware of.

To be honest the only trading system with brokerage capabilities that I know of is tradestation. I’ve never used them but I think they base everything on TA

That’d be a traveling man’s dream. You travel in Warnemunde, Warsovia, or Alabama and Argentina, and, regardless of the local Internet Cafes and other unknown Internet connections, you’re able to step out of the loop, keep both your broker and P123 in the loop, and, without your intervening, they work for you reliably. It’s a nice dream that also happens to be not in the interest of Wall Street’s bankers’ gangs who employ the best lawmakers that money can buy. But we can dream, can’t we?

Oh it will happen! Maybe not with P123 but one can dream. Now that tradestation is doing it and developers see that it’s an attraction that can make money. It’s only a matter of time before someone comes out with competition and if you’re going to try to compete against a monopoly then you better have something they don’t … I.E. trade with FA and TA … not just TA.

Be patient and it will come. This is the future of trading and I’m happy to be part of it on the ground floor.

There are already some websites that do this sort of thing. For example if you sign up for one of the services from SchaeffersResearch or PowerOptionsApplied, they will automatically submit orders (usually options) to OptionsXpress.

the ‘autotrade’ feature of Schaeffer’s is the the exact idea but for stocks…having the choice of implementing the trades myself or switch to ‘automatic’ would be a wonderful feature i think!

TradeBullet could work if C2 had an API to connect to it.

Strategy Manager could also work (still in beta)

ThinkOrSwim has newsletter automatic trading. This would require P123 to create a auto-trade agreement with TorS that users could subscribe to.

It is doable, and desirable.
