How to add a formula to a ranking system that checks the previous rank position of the company 1 week ago and then ranks the company higher if it was well ranked 1 week ago?
There's no RankPrev() function or equivalent available in the ranking system, so unfortunately there isn't a way to reference a stock's prior rank position from a week ago within a ranking formula.
I thought I had used that a while ago. Still in the reference (screenshot).
RankPosPrev() also available in the reference.
Functions are context-dependent. For example, within a ranking system, if you add a node and look at the Reference panel at the bottom, you will not see functions like Rank() and RankPrev() listed as available.

Right. Looking back at a sim, I had used it before in the buy/sell rules, but it cannot be used in a ranking system. I had forgotten.
