Hi guys, I would like some help as I feel a bit lost….
I have two doubts on which I am seeking some clarifications…
I am based in EU, Rome time zone. I trade US and EU strategies with P123.
All my live strats are set as Automatic rebalance, some weekly, other every X weeks rebal.
EU strats are set as Early rebalance, Us no early.
I normally receive the rebalance email on monday (eu time):
-at 6.15am for european strategies
-at 11.45 am for Us strategies.
EU strategies (early rebal) the emails says “rebalance notice for XX” and XX is Sunday
US strategies (no early rebal) the emails says “rebalance notice for XX” and XX is Monday
In fact if I check the strats i see:
for an EU strat:
and for a US strat:
Does it all make sense to you? I mean.. sunday rebalance is because it’s US CDT Sunday, correct?
It matches with the schedule on system status page…
If I do not set EU strategies at EARLY I will receive the rebalance after the EU markets open right? So this explain the date for last rebal on Sunday. Correct?
The other question is about the manual rebal and the button Make Current and the day of the week for rebalance.
All my strategies are in Auto and rebal is on sun/mon has I explained before. But what if I create a strategy live on Wednesday and put it to manual? Will the expected rebalance stay on Wed every week?
I realized the day of the rebalance for weekly strategies can be any day of the week.
How is this set/decided? Is the button Make Current that changes the day of the week rebalance?
I clicked Make Current on on eof my strategies and the rebal day changed to that day and the next proposed rebal sync on that day of the week.
So with make current I could decide to rebalance my weekly strategies on, let’s say, Wednesday? Is this correct in any method (Auto, recommend, manual)?
what if, by mistake, I change the day and want to restore it? I have to click on make current on the day I want to rebalance? For EU starts will it be Monday or Sunday?
Sorry for the long and maybe confused topic, I hope someone has a clear view and answer that maybe can help others.
I found previous topics but not 100% clear.
