Currently Interactive Broker accounts can only place orders in USA.

Extending this to Europe and Canada will be huge in my opinion.
Portfolio123 provides the stock info as ‘SYMBOL:COUNTRY (ticker colon exchange country)’, which is usually not the way brokers display their stocks. Because of this, it is quite hard to utilise the research P123 users do on European stocks in practice, especially when you try to automate this process yourself.
Hence, allowing a link in manage strategies to IBKR for European stocks will make it even more attractive to invest in the European data package that P123 offers in my opinion (which is already attractive in my opinion as an extra sample for backtests).
