I came across HELP:USA and saw its market cap was showing as only 1.41M, but also shows 50M shares outstanding at ~$5/share. Is that a real market cap value?
We're reviewing that data.
Checking back in. Yahoo and finviz show 260mil market cap while MarketWatch also shows 1.4mil, for example. I was looking at this when thinking about universe and screen rules. It’s less a question about HELP:USA specifically and more about what others might be as far off.
I asked Factset to investigate.
Anything? Others are now reporting the same issue for GOOGL.
Upon investigation, HELP-CA trades on the Canadian NEO Stock Exchange. FS's vendor does not provide pricing coverage for securities listed on the NEO exchange. As a result, any Canadian security that has moved from the TSX to NEO will not reflect a current market value.
It looked like it primarily trades in the US now? Does it pick up the market value from the shares issued in the US at least?
The primary security for (HELP-US) is the Canadian security (HELP-CA) for FS.
