How often do predictions update?

@ZGWZ - If you have time it would be very helpful if you could do a test for us. The test would be to log out of P123 and then log back in then use Save As to save a copy of that sim and run it. Of course it is important that you do not change any of the rules in the sim or change the ranking system or universe. The log out/in step is also important since we think the differences occur when you connect to different servers.

If the sim results changed, the let us know the name of both sims. If the results are the same, wait at least 30 minutes and then repeat the test again ie log out an back in, do Save As to create a copy and run it, compare the results. Keep testing until you see a difference.

I will be doing similar tests in my account, but it could be something specific to your settings that triggered the issue.

That's great to hear you've been able to identify the issue, and good to know it isn't anything particularly serious. Thanks for investigating this and hopefully the team can get it sorted without much hassle.

See the screenshots below for another notable observation today. In the process of creating a screen of screens I realised that the holdings weren't consistent, even upon refreshing the screens at the same time.

Here are the 5 holdings that appear when being called from a parent screen:

And then here are the holdings when I go directly to the screen being referenced:

This probably adds credence to the theory last mentioned here (assuming another server is pulling the data on the screen of screens), but thought I'd share nonetheless in the chance anything can be gained from it.

The screen is using a North America universe, and the screen screen is using a North Atlantic universe. Mixing regions with Screen(...) isn't really supported as it was not considered when regions were added. Try running the screen screen using North America (Primary) or exactly the same universe. I hope this helps!

Fair, yeah changing that no longer produced the issue. Thanks for making that clear.

Just wondering if this was ever fixed?

I ask because I've been clicking to rebalance the same AI strategy a lot today, and I notice depending on the time of day, it'll tell me to sell different stocks. The ranks change ever so slightly, despite there being no data update.

I looked into this today and found the precise cause. You can expect the problem to be resolved early next week, and we'll see if any additional actions are needed for sub-sector series.

There's still something weird going on here. This evening I went to look at the rebalance recommendations for one of my AI strategies. It was suggesting I sell a certain stock, so I left the page to check which rule caused the sell. I then clicked back to rebalance again and that stock was no longer a suggested sell, just a rebalance. Can confirm it wasn't around the time of a server update either.

I'm guessing different servers are still behaving differently for whatever reason.

There has been an issue affecting dividend adjustments that started January 15th and was finally resolved yesterday. It's likely this noise in prediction input data would cause some shuffling results. Let me know if issues persist.
