I am not clear how pledges are working as I think I read somewhere on the forum that the pledge will come in deduction of future subscription payments. Is that the case?

That is dependent on the specific sponsored project. The Asian and Emerging markets project has that type of condition, but this one does not.

I would like to add one other feature request related to this sponsored item. For European markets, I am using limit orders for the markets where algos are not supported, but p123 does not yet support Display Size parameters for limit orders, which would be very helpful so that we can send iceberg orders. A display size of 0 should be allowed too, and bonus points if we can select the display size as a percentage of average volume or average quote size from the UI.

Dan would this allow us to use VWAP or like Midpoint NBBO or some other types of more sophisticated IBKR algos for Canadian stocks? If so, I’ll pay for the rest of this to make it happen. Thanks

You can already send VWAP orders for Canadian stocks in p123 via linked IBKR accounts – they just have to be in round lots, i.e. typically multiples of 100 shares. The round lot limitation is on the IBKR side.

I believe the Midpoint NBBO in the p123 UI is for Tradier linked accounts, though not sure.

Hi Jon. The description of this project mentions that ‘The exact list of algos will be defined before this project kicks off.’ and that is still the case.

I see that the IB Trader Workstation has a ‘Pegged to Midpoint’ order type available for Canadian stocks. It shows ‘Platforms: TWS and IBKR Desktop’, but the developers would need to verify which algos are available to us if/when this project starts.

Thanks. I’ll fund the rest of it, I believe it’s $1K left assuming everyone else who responded is going forward. If so, I’m good to do that
