I got a universe with the code -Country(“DEU,SWE,NOR,DNK,FIN,USA,CAN”)
But I the company HUG:POL sneaks in to the list and I can’t see that it’s double listed in one of the countries in my universe.
Country(...) lets you filter by the country of a company’s domicile, while ExchCountry(...) lets you filter by the country of a stock’s exchange. (The country code appended to tickers always indicates exchange country.)
Be aware that the rule works as Is the exchange of this stock in a certain set of countries? and not Is the exchange of any active listing of this stock’s company in a certain set of countries?. See Primary, Foreign Primary and Non Primary listings in the knowledge base for further explanation.
