Does anyone here use Morningstar to supplement P123? If so do you find it useful or does it interfere with a purely quantitative/rules-based approach?
What would you use from it? I get some of their things for free via IBKR
Can you elaborate pls?
Interactive Brokers provides free Morningstar reports and ratings
Morningstar has a proprietary DCF model for vast part of stocks, so accurate(taking into account flaws and strengths of valuation models) in some cases. You can see it in through IB as well.
Try the P123 Panels feature!
That being said here is some of what IBKR has:
its like 30 pages like this:
I use the Panels here frequently. Great stuff. I’ll check out the IBKR offerings. Thx.
Most DCF models are not very influenced by a stock's actual price. If I remember correctly, Morningstar's is a big exception to this rule. That's why I didn't trust it when I looked into it a few years ago: valuations were simply too close to actual prices. SimplyWallSt did/does a better job IMO.
Anyway ,it s a black box
That looks like Fast Graphs?
