You can now crowdfund projects in the Sponsored Projects forum category. These are a small subset of of the feature requests we received over the years that seemed to be the most popular. We will be rotating these based on your feedback.
I'm not sure I've seen anything quite like this before: a SaaS company with subscriber sponsored projects. It's an experiment. I have no idea if it will work.
What I do know is that it's extremely hard to cull through all the requests from you, the user. We try to balance projects that we decide with ones that you want, and it never feels like we get it right. Perhaps this will be a model for how to do it.
