Norway on IBKR?

I was getting ready to trade a European screen when I realised that Interactive Brokers only has access to the "OMXNO" exchange and no access directly to the Oslo Stock Exchange. Apparently, this means there's less liquidity and wider spreads. Given my Euro screens currently have a large number of Norwegian holdings, this is concerning.

I was wondering if anyone has successfully traded Norwegian stocks on IBKR using OMXNO or any other alternative? If so have you found the spreads/liquidity to be tolerable?

I have a lot of experience trading Norwegian stocks through IBKR, all of it bad. The spreads/liquidity are definitely not tolerable. I gave up on this and now trade my Norwegian stocks via Fidelity and via my prime broker.

What is your prime broker?

StoneX. They don't service retail investors, but if you have a fund, they've been excellent.

What is the difference between their prime brokerage services compared to their typical 0 commission retail brokerage services (Stone X One)?

This is the first time I've heard of Stone X One. Thanks for telling me about it. It looks like an excellent retail brokerage. Certainly it'll be cheaper than prime. Their margin rate is higher than what I pay, but at least you get $0 commissions on US equities. I don't know what they charge for Canadian and European trades.

It turns out they don't yet offer European or Canadian stocks. Once they do it could be a game changer. They'll let me know their schedule and I'll keep you posted.
