The release notes mentioned that the IssueChange() function is no longer supported and must be removed from any rules in universes, screens, strategies, ranking systems or formulas that are using it, otherwise an error will be triggered.
This post is a reminder to remove IssueChange from your rules because any live strategies that are set for automatic rebalance will fail to rebalance if they use IssueChange() in the buy/sell rules, custom universe, ranking system or custom formulas.
To determine if any of your rules contain IssueChange, click on ‘Research Search’ under The Research section of the main menu. This will open the Advanced Research Search tool. There are several tabs that allow you to search each place IssueChange could have been used. Search each of these for the text ‘IssueChange’:
Strategy: Buy Rule Contains, Sell Rule Contains
Screen: Contains Rule
Components, Ranking System: Factors Contain
Components, Universe: Contains Rule
Components, Formula: Contains Factor
