S&P 500 yield

The yield of the S&P 500 given by the formula UnivAvg("true","yield") is shown as 1.94.

But the yield of the S&P 500 is currently only 1.17%. Can somebody explain the this.

Try UnivCapAvg.

Also Yield is forward yield. Try this;
100*UnivCapAvg("true","DivPaidTTM/MktCap")
