We fixed the external “Ticker Links” which allow you jump to other websites stock pages.
Ticker Links only work in the Research section of P123 at the moment. We also cleaned up and added several pre-defined ones (8 total shown in image below).It takes a bit of tinkering to reverse engineer what the external website wants; let us know which site you are having trouble connecting and we can try.
The one shown is a popup for monthly bars in FinViz called “FZMo” . Finviz supports having a hover popup as well as click through which is kind of nice (a small down arrow in the Ticker Link indicates there’s a popup). FinViz also shows delayed prices when the market is open.
Ticker Links is something we did not expand since it’s initial release. Let us know if you want us to spend time on it. For example we want to bring it over to the Manage section, make user interface improvements, as well as support other identifiers like CIK (Edgar wants CIKs in the URL).
