Update to Portfolio123 Site Design Coming Soon

Marco & All:

I'm unable to flip through my ports since the side scroll bar disappeared. This was very useful too me. Also, in order to enter a manual transaction I need to click through an extra level. I don't use IB, so all my transactions are manual. So this is a pain.

Bill

Just noticed that too, that’s painful. I used to really love the fact that in the old site, it would “remember” what part of the port you were looking at (holdings or summary or whatever) and then you could flip to the next one on the same screen.

I would like to keep My current holding trend. it’s gone.

Actually, just noticed the side nav is still there, but it’s auto-collapsing when you go into a port. Any way to default it to staying open?

gs3 - fixed the transactions update. Should be working now. What do you mean “Current holding trend?”

strader1 and dmacdonal9 - once you show the sidebar navigation for ports it should stay open. Is is always closing for you?

thanks
ted

Ah, so it does. Also stays open after a logout and log back in. Excellent!

Where can I find my Designer Models that have not been launched yet?

Geov

There’s a “Designer Dashboard” button on the top right of the Designer Models section. It’s also at the bottom of the user menu on the top right of the browser.

update transaction fixed confirmed. I found “Holdings by Popularity” in advanced search function which is what I mean by “Current holding trend”

Marco & All:

Yes, the side bar is there after all -- click on the left border.

Bill

Are the Fundamental Charts from the Data / Stocks and ETFs menu available in the new design?

solen

yes - entering a ticker in the search in the top right of the menu will take you to the stock data pages.

Ted,
Where can the three sub-menu buttons be found now. How does one add notes and change port names now, or add/edit the folder names?

Hi Geov

Folder names can be edited in the menu with the folder icon. The “New” menu is next to that.

Portfolio “Notes” and “About” (where you can edit the name) pages are found in the gear menu next to the opened portfolio name.

Thanks, Ted.

Please bring back the Fundamental chart tool. It’s too valuable to lose.

You just have to enter a ticker first in the search on the top menu. then click on the correct result in the “Stocks & ETFs” results. The default landing page is the snapshot, but the other tabs (technical/fundamental chart, prices, rank, panels) are still there.

ted

Thanks Ted! That’s unexpected and a bit weird. I vote for restoration under the Data menu.

Really liking the new site design…

3 issues I had today:

  • the menu item “gear”/delete doesn’t work for screens (and maybe other objects). Workaround for now: deleting works in the list of screens.
  • removing a portfolio from Designer Models resulted in deleting it (it was in the 3-month waiting period and I wanted to modify it). It would be better to keep it as Live or Simulated (no worry in this case, I could restore it from a copy).
  • the last column of the performance by calendar year of a portfolio simulation shows wrong numbers (2017 YTD return, model and benchmark)
