MysteryStocksScreen

I am working with Universes. I start with all listed and then subtract out the set (OTC,NOOTC,$ADR). Should I see zero remaining? I looked at the 31 symbols remaining
and found that they are listed on various exchanges including NYSE.

The screen is public and named MysteryStocksScreen. Here are my own notes.

Azure Power Global Limited (NYSE: AZRE)
Nasdaq Global Markets agmh, latch LTCH,
Apexigen, Inc. NASDAQ apgn
NASDAQ CM: ARVL (luxenbourg)
NASDAQ NESR

Mark Q.

Interesting. 37 US stocks pass the rule:
!Universe(OTC) and !Universe(NOOTC)

This is the MysteryStocksScreen universe

Period date is 1970 for them. Not sure how that factors in.

Yesterday 31 stocks passed. Today I get 32? and Chipper mentioned 37. Hmm.

To Mr. Hemmerling. How did you discover the “period date” anomaly so quickly? Do you have a
a screen or custom report which enumerates many factors which you can share? Thank you

It was just using the screen from Chipper6 with PREDEFINED REPORT and P123 DEFAULT. It was originally set up that way so when I clicked run screen, there is was. Nothing special on my part.

Here’s the answer, via Aaron:

OTC and NOOTC are not opposites because they don’t have the same use case. OTC is based on US All and NOOTC is based on US Fundamentals. There’s no reason one would want to combine OTC and NOOTC.

If OTC were based on US Fundamentals, one could make a screen using the US All universe and write !Universe(OTC) and some OTC stocks would remain.

Great info! Please update the docs accordingly.
